Why people book
What people come in for
This is what people tell me, in their words. It is not a list of what I treat, and results vary.
Neck and shoulder tension
A tight neck after a long week at a desk, a phone or a steering wheel.
A stiff low back
Mornings that start slowly, or a back that complains after a day on your feet.
Sleep that comes slowly
Lying awake, waking early, or a body that won't wind down.
Stress and a busy season
A long stretch of work, caregiving or school, and a body that hasn't caught up.
Tension headaches
A band across the forehead or a tightness at the base of the skull.
Children who are tense
A child who is restless, slow to settle or having a hard week at school.
Plainly
What acupuncture does not do
Acupuncture does not replace your doctor, your medicine or emergency care, and I will never ask you to stop any of them. It cannot promise a result, and results vary from person to person.
See a doctor first for sudden, severe pain, chest pain, trouble breathing, a fever with a stiff neck, new weakness or numbness, or loss of bladder or bowel control. In an emergency, call 911.
Not sure it's for you?
Call or write and describe what you're noticing. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help or whether to see someone else first.
