How I run the practice

Changing a visit

Please tell me a day ahead if you can't come. Call, text or write, and we'll find another time. I keep my hours small, so a changed visit gives your slot to someone else.

Clean needles and safety

I use sterile needles from sealed packs, open each pack in front of you and use each needle once. Used needles go into a sharps container. I explain the risks before the first needle: soreness, light bruising, feeling light-headed and, rarely, bleeding or infection.

Children

A parent or guardian stays for the whole session. Nothing is inserted at a children's session, and we stop whenever your child asks.

Your medicines

Keep taking everything your prescriber gave you, and tell me about all of it, including anything you buy without a prescription. I never advise stopping a medicine.

Access

The office is on the ground floor with a step-free entrance and a wide door. There is street parking on Waialae Avenue and a small lot behind the building. The room is quiet and scent-free. Tell me what would make a visit easier.

Privacy

I keep your records private and share them only as the law allows. You can ask me what I hold and how to get a copy.
